Have Scottish Parliament stamp and postal expenses been used for SNP electioneering in this forthcoming General Election? That is what a lot of us want to know.
We have had reports this weekend of someone close to SNP Leader, Dishonest John Sweeney, advising others on the benefits of utilising the parliamentary 'Stamp Fairy' and another staffer querying whether Scottish Parliament-issued stamps are 'traceable'.
We don't know many details yet but if such a thing has happened it would amount to yet another SNP fraud on the public purse. We wouldn't put anything past them. The one sure thing we do know is that the SNP is well-practised at fraud and deception on the public.
All Dishonest John could say was that it would have been 'completely unacceptable' for parliamentary stamps to have been used in this way. Completely unacceptable, we ask? It is common-law theft, Dishonest John should have said, along with an immediate demand for a police criminal investigation.
At the same time Dishonest John should have asked Police Scotland for the SNP to be given basic lessons in Criminal Law and with particular emphasis on the crimes of fraud, theft, misappropriation of funds and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Really, with the best will in the world you couldn't make any of this up. The SNP has long been rotten from its very core.
