So, Prime Minister Johnson has been fined for his little shindig during the pandemic and with, perhaps, the prospect of more fines to come. Chancellor Sunak ditto.
Scoundrel though he is - and a man who should never have been Prime Minister - we firmly remain on the Prime Minister's side over this. In our view, those shindigs are a complete non-event.
To us, by far the most important matter in this saga is the criminal waste of police resources by the Metropolitan Police.
